The NPPPU is considering organising a further one day training programme, before the end of 2008, to assist public sector organisations in developing their corporate procurement plans. The development and implementation of these plans can assist in improving value for money outcomes from procurement activities in public sector organisations.
The format and content of the programme will be similar to the corporate procurement plan training sessions carried out in May and June this year. Consequently, the next session will be targeted at organisations that were not able to participate in the earlier training events.
However, before the details regarding date and location are finalised it is necessary to determine the extent of the interest from public sector participants in such training.
